Michael Tyrimos is the COO of Exelia Technologies for South Africa and Cyprus, and the co-founder of the online social platform Synups. In the past he served as the Head of Business Development at Bioland Energy, leading the company’s diversification in the residential PV-systems market and aiding the growth of its operations in China.
Michael is an elected Associate of King’s College London and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts – also acting as the society’s appointed Regional Connector in Cyprus. He currently sits on the executive board of the youth-led organization Cypriot Enterprise Link, which he helped co-found in early 2012, and is the founder and co-chairman of the Cambridge University Venture Capital & Private Equity Club.
He holds a First Class Bachelors degree from King’s College London, a Masters degree from Cambridge University, and professional certificates from the Swiss Finance Academy and the London School of Economics.
